For those who’ve been dreaming of becoming a morning person since grade school
When I was a kid, I used to love watching a show called Success Stories every weekend.
One thing that stuck with me? Every successful CEO on the show seemed to say they woke up at 4AM.
Naturally, I wanted to be successful too—so I tried it.
Set my alarm for 4AM, got up… and then realized I had no idea what to do at that hour.
Ended up crawling back into bed more often than not 😂
Still, the connection between success and early rising hasn’t gone away.
The Miracle Morning, Cassie’s 4AM beauty routine in Euphoria, all those YouTube “5AM club” vlogs…
At this point, it’s practically a rule:
If you want to achieve something big, you start your day early.
So what exactly do successful people do in the early morning?
This is the number one common habit of successful people.
Most of them start their day around 4–6AM.
But it’s not just about waking up early.
It’s about what you do with that time.
Meditation
A cup of warm tea
Catching up on the news
Reading a chapter of a book
Writing a to-do list
Keeping a gratitude journal
Even doing just one or two of these gives you the feeling:
“I took care of myself today.”
And that energy sets the tone for the rest of your day.
“Exercise for 2 hours!” sounds like a lot.
But “a 20-minute walk”?
Somehow that feels doable.
That’s the key: Do something physical every single day, no matter how small.
A loop around the park, a stroll to the nearest convenience store, a few stretches at home…
It all counts.
Fresh air + light movement = a totally different energy flow for the day.
“Of course I shower,” you might think.
But this habit breaks down more often than you’d think—
especially when you’re feeling unmotivated or emotionally drained.
Working from home or being stuck in a rut?
Sometimes even one shower a day feels like a chore.
But here’s the magic—
Taking a shower can completely shift your mindset.
It’s like flipping a mental switch:
“I might actually be able to get something done today.”
When you look at successful or wealthy people, it’s tempting to think there’s a big secret.
But really, it’s about tiny habits repeated over time.
If waking up at 4AM is too much, start with 6AM
If working out sounds overwhelming, try a 10-minute walk
If showering feels like too much, just wash your face thoroughly
Even starting with just one consistent habit can shift your whole rhythm.
We all want success, in our own ways.
But true success begins when you turn that desire
into daily action—one routine at a time.
So, how did your morning go today?
I’m ready to start small. One habit at a time.
